Day 17 Cannes
We had a chilly start, our hosts said that there's often sea mist and cloud that comes up from the coast. Today was mostly downhill through rolling vineyards and meadows.
We cycled to Fréjus and caught a train to Cannes. To cycle would have been 500m ascent over 30km, and this is our sixth day of cycling so we're ready for a rest in Cannes.
Our cycle buddy that we met on the way to Arles, Soren, will be in Cannes too and we're planning to cycle along the coast together on Tuesday.
We cooked a veggie chilli dinner for Soren. It turns out he was in Palavas-les-flots the same night we were, and night before was at the same hotel in Béziers!

We passed the Rock of Roquebrune with a trail of hikers going up to the peak.
