Day 90 Chios
We're in proper holiday mode now, we went on a bus tour around Chios.
First we visited the Nea Moni monastery with its stunningly beautiful 11th century mosaics. Glad we didn't try to cycle up there! It's a UNESCO world heritage site, another one to tick off the list.
Next we went to Anavatos, an uninhabited village built with rock that camouflaged it from a distance. We had mastica drinks (bit weird) and greek honey donuts (delish).
After that we went to a beach that had a holy shrine, and had lunch in the shaded patio of a beautiful church.
