Mat & Kat's big bike trip
Day 34 Trieste
We're taking a few days in Trieste, partly to do some sightseeing, and partly to avoid cycling through a big storm that's coming through this part of Europe. We've got lots of flexibility in our plans, so this feels like a luxury.
Trieste is a beautiful city with lots of impressive buildings, a serious cafe culture, and a lot of yellow cars.
Today was our one sunny and not windy day and we watched the sunset from the quay. Out to sea, we could see a mega yacht - it's a Russian owned sailing yacht called just 'A' which has been impounded by the Italians since 2022 and now sits empty on the horizon. Worth checking out the Wikipedia page!
