Kat & Mat's big bike trip
Day 53 Baška Voda
After breakfast we hopped in an Uber and went to the airport to collect a hire car. Drove back to Split, dismantled our bikes and stowed them in the back of the car.
To celebrate having an engine, we spent the day going up lots of hills that we'd never ride up. The first place was Klis fortress, with stunning views over Split.
Next we headed up into the mountains to an incredible cave, where we got a private tour from the 70-year-old grandson of the man who discovered the cave in 1903.
Then we toured up high through the deserted green mountains and down through a switchback to the coast and our room for tonight.
